What would you do while waiting for an ambulance?

Would you know what to do and what not to do if someone was having a heart attack or a stroke? What would you do if someone was severely bleeding right in front of you? Would you know how to help them and protect yourself?

The answer to these questions can literally mean the difference between life and death. Yours or someone you know. The ironic thing about learning CPR and First Aid is that most people usually wait until after something happens. After they could have helped someone. After they learn a lesson about being PREpared. People are funny, they say these things are very important, but they show what’s important (at the time) by spending money an things like dining out, videos, computers and sound systems instead of on a CPR course. I say, at the time, because after an emergency happens their hindsight is always “I should have taken that CPR course!”
